Could have used a heads up Katie but…
…whatever.
So Katie Couric says the word “Glassbooth” tonight on CBS Evening News and somewhere across the country a server quivers and says “oh no.”
CRASH.
Sorry for the inconvenience, truly. The mass of traffic hitting the site simultaneously caused us to go temporarily offline. But the hack team at Glassbooth is on it, and we are back. Please enjoy the site, drop a line, leave a comment, and let us know what you think. We are adding new features in the future, so please stay in touch with the blog for more updates.
Sorry again. It was Katie’s fault, I swear.

Yeah that is what I figured would happen! I came back and you’re still here. Thanks it is a great and informative site.
I was wondering (and suspecting) thats was what was going on, as I typed the very same words into my web browser just seconds after Katie said them, and got no result!:)
Well awesome publicity and way to go Glassbooth people, sweet site!!
To CBS evening news: work on your communication with the subjects of your stories–they exist in the real world (and maintain a server) ya know.
I was one of those that went immediately to your website. Found it a great resource to related articles and quotes. Thanks.
Oh yeah, I was surprised at who was my best match.
This site was #1 on Google Trends for awhile. No small feat.

This site is a great tool. Nice job!!!
I’ve already made up my mind regarding the best presidential candidate over a year ego, and your quiz proved me right.
Thanks.
Hi there, I really like this website. Is there any way to develop a script so that we can plug our results directly into our blogs/network pages? It might serve as an additional way to increase your hits and donations. It’s a great tool to help get people thinking and discussing politics.
I’ve always thought the presidential election should be decided by voting on the issues instead of the candidate the way your questionaire works.
Thnanks so much for this site its great! I kinda knew who I was going to vote for since they said they were running but have had my doubts. Guess I shouldn’t cause everything points to my first choice. Living in New Orleans all my life and seeing where a not so straight forward goverment gets you I know we all need to vote!!!!!!
Frankly, I would think you could put this crash in your ‘trophy case’. Without Katie Couric’s mention, a lot of people who will find this site useful might never have known…..even well-informed people don’t get some news…unless someone like Katie Couric (oh, and her staff) give it a mention….
Earlier today I took the test, and the result was
very interesting. Now, after family members have
also taken it, I want to go back and look in more detail
at my results.
It looks like one cannot do that, without retaking the test.
Is this a ‘feature’ you could provide?
Is the crash causing the quiz to cycle back through?
AWESOME,EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS BEFORE THEY VOTE….KUDOS…..
This site is fantastic!! It has clearly been a pivotal point in how I view this election and where the candidates stand on issues that are important to me.
Get that server ready because I think the site hits so far are just the beginning.
I can’t believe all the pr. I am so impressed. The product is great, the experience simple yet sophisticated so kudos all around!!!
I see you have recovered by the 18th of Nov. I never heard of the guy you said was my candidate - is he still in the running? I wish you included the “Fair Tax” also - or instead of the “Flat Tax”. I know Mike Huckabee is for the Fair Tax and think he may be the only one who has come out and said that. There is a big difference between the two.
Oh yeah, i would not have known about this site without Katie’s mention.
Cool Site. Thanks
This site is a great tool to get those around you involved and thinking about this election. I know a lot of people who want to know more but don’t know where to begin. This site has provided that.
A good addition would be a section where you could compare side by side (on the same screen) a number of candidates and your own responses to each of the survey questions.
Keep up the good work!
Did the crashing of this site after Katie’s mention of it cause it to loop back through sometimes because since I heard about it on the news I have been trying to take the quiz and every time I click on “take the quiz” it loops back to the very first page. Is it my computer or have other people been having this problem as well? Thanks.
