Mitt Romney was born on March 12, 1947. He is a Republican from Massachusetts. Romney served as the governor of Massachusetts from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that he was head of the Salt lake City Olympic Organizing Committee. Romney is a former bishop and stake president in his church.
