Tara Johnson on Energy
Believes the state needs to keep its options open, but that nuclear energy is not an immediate solution. Her feelings about nuclear power come from having grown up in Pennsylvania during the time of the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.
Believes wind energy can be a part of solution to energy problems, but ultimately supports local communities ability to decide whether they want wind farms.
Believes the state needs to look at other ethanol sources besides corn, including biomass such as wood and switchgrass, which can be produced in Western Wisconsin.
Believes in local decision making.
