No one can live on the current minimum wage. Business should recognize that the minimum wage earner is potentially their customer as well, and if the people cannot afford your products, you will go out of business.
This is a no-brainer. Business exists to make money. When business makes money, they create jobs, they can pay higher salaries and wages to their employers.
Corporations need to pay their share. Overtaxing corporations will result in cuts to compensation to the workers and that must be avoided.
Government behavior control Stop using the tax code as a tool to limit freedom of choice. But, reinvestment has high return, so private local reinvestment is a good thing, but it must be freely chosen by the investor.
