Tom Tancredo was born December 20, 1945. He is a Republican from Colorado. Tancredo has served since 1999 as a representative of Colorado's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to that he was President of the Independence Institute in Golden, Colorado. Tancredo has come to national prominence for his stance on immigration.
