Bob Barr is the Libertarian Party's 2008 candidate for President. He was born November 5, 1948. Prior to this Barr served the state of Georgia from 1994 until 2003 as a United States Congressman for the 7th district. While in Congress, Barr served as a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, as Vice-Chairman of the Government Reform Committee, and as a member of the Committee of Financial Services. As the second of six children Barr spent his boyhood in Malaysia, Pakistan, Panama, and Iran where he graduated from High School in 1966.

Ralph Nader on Immigration

Ralph Nader was born in Winsted, CT on February 27, 1934. His parents were Maronite Catholic immigrants from Lebanon. Nader graduated from Princeton University in 1955 and Harvard Law School in 1958, and then served in the United States Army for six months in 1959. In his career as consumer advocate, Nader has founded over 100 groups and organizations. He has run for President of the United States five times since 1992.
