How you compare
Bob Barr shares a 63% similarity with your beliefs on Abortion and Birth Control
I strongly oppose keeping abortion legal
Barr is the idol of the gun-toting, abortion-fighting, IRS-hating hard right wing of American politics.
"There are a lot of pro-life Libertarians, and they look at it in much the same way that Libertarians generally do, as one of the tenets of the philosophy is that the use of force to take a life should not be countenanced. If there is one thing that should be illegal it is the taking of a life by force without justification. The same applies to the unborn fetus which is a human being, the same as it does to somebody who is 59 years old."
While in Congress, Barr consistently supported all legislation restricting abortion, and most legislation restricting birth control access. He opposes Roe v. Wade, and has argued that abortion should be banned nationwide.
I strongly oppose the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973

I am neutral on emergency contraception
Voted YES on the Contraceptive Amendment, which sought to prohibit title X funding to a family planning provider that knowingly provides contraceptives to a minor without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Bill Number: HR 4274, 10/08/98
I strongly support restrictions on medical procedures used during late term abortions
Voted YES on banning partial-birth abortions, in HR 3660 which strove to ban doctors from performing the abortion procedure called "dilation and extraction" [also known as “partial-birth” abortion]. The measure would allow the procedure only if the life of the woman is at risk.
